Well to start off this engine was out together a few years back at our facility. Tomei offers turbos that are low mount , this unit was custom made at out shop as a Top Mount turbo kit for this Sr20det Black top. Even the guys at Tomei gave us there hats off for pulling this off.
What’s more impressive I would add is we matted a sr20det with a low mount Tomei Turbo but on a Porsche 914! The Tomei turbo was low mount but installed back wards or 180 degree spin since the engine is mounted behind the drivers seat.

Tomei Turbos look so good but the performance and throttle response to match each motor is pure engineering from the guys in Japan.

A quick look . Still using the T2 flange but top mount . Fully clocked set up that has been installed and runing for close to 2 years.

Well after 7000 we can see this start to die off. Cams are also upgraded with mild head work. Stock compression . Race gas.
